My first holiday card for this year

Now that Halloween is over, Its looking a lot like Christmas (even though there’s thanksgiving in the midst) . We had our first snow on Halloween night in Michigan . I love winter and the snow but I get jitters thinking of really cold winter days. Its lovely to see the whole white and red colors everywhere and definitely lifts up my mood.

For today, I m posting my very first holiday card.

What better way than to start with red and white colors?

Isn’t this a pretty cute image ? Sharing gifts on a snowy day is beautiful right?

Here are the steps to make this card?

Supplies: Neenah solar white card stock, Red embossed paper from Joanns

Stamp: Penny black jolly friends ( )

Dies: Nestabilities scalloped circles

Ink: Memento tuxedo black ink , Copics E27, E25, B21, C6, R29, R24, E21, Y14,YG17 , Tumbled glass distress ink

Misc: red and white twine, Foam dots, Stickles frosty lace

1. Cut an A 2 size card (4.25 X 5.5 ” ) from white card stock

2. For card panel – cut 4 inch X 5.25 inch red embossed card stock . String the twine three times around and attach the panel to card base.

3. Cut spellbinders die and blend with distress ink around corner. Stamp the penny black stamp . Color with copics. Use stickles for snow on ground and on umbrella.

4. Attach it to card panel with foam dots. Use any sentiment for Christmas on inside.

I m posting this card for this challenge –
