There were lots of birthdays coming up and I needed a bunch of birthday cards! I had no time or patience to create various cards at this moment . This post is about a bunch of cards made with the same stamp but using various patterned paper so that it can be given to anybody be it ladies or men! Its all the same design with just variations in color and paper. So easy to make a same bunch of cards and yet different!
Card size: 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″
1. Create a 4″ X 5 1/4″ panel of the colored cardstock ( pink, lilac, maroon, dark blue) . Adhere it to the card base. ( from neenah solar white cardstock)
2. Create a 3.75″ X 5″ panel of patterned paper (pink rose pattern, lilac shaded, dark blue dots, maroon design) . Use doodlebug twine (various colors for each cards separately) and go around three twines and attach it to this panel. Adhere this over the above panel.
3. Die cut a nestability label and with the die in place, color the edges with distress inks (antique linen, vintage photo, tattered rose, and victorial velvet) .Emboss the edges with the embossing tool.
4.Stamp penny black stamp with memento tuxedo ink on the die cut . Color with copics – matching with the papers. Use stickles on the ribbon (of the stamp – appropriate color).Adhere this die cut with 3d foam dots on to the patterned paper.
5. Inside the card, a happy birthday sentiment can be stamped with whatever stamps you have!
