Ramadan Mubarak!

For all those celebrating Ramadan, Eid Mubarak!

I m making this post simple. I fell head over heels in love with the new Altenew stamps. They are so beautiful and alluring. My first purchase from Altenew was the Eid Mubarak set because I wanted to create a card which had the arabic version of Eid Mubarak.

I wanted only the arabic image in the front panel and I tried to merge the colors black and gold (hoping to replicate mecca colors) . Gold and black is always a pretty combo, isn’t it?

The starry backdrop was made by overlapping the stamping of stars stamp (from lawn fawn), as I do not have a falling stars stamp. How I wish I had it to create the falling stars image!

The black panel was created by stamping lawn fawn stamp (stars) with versamark and gold embossing and tied with a golden satin ribbon.

The die cut was embossed with a embossing tool (edges have a bit of elevation) after coloring with antique linen distress ink. The Altenew stamp set was used with versamark ink and ranger gold embossing powder to create the arabic sentiment! I m so in love with the ranger gold embossing powder.

The sentiment inside read – May the Guidance of Allah Be with you and your family with happy Eid from the same stamp set.

Supplies:

Paper: Bazzill marshmallow cardstock (white), black cardstock, neenah solar white cardstock for die cut

Stamps: Altenew Eid Greetings , Lawn fawn Teeny Tiny backdrops (stars stamp)

Ink: Versamark ink for the heat embossing, memento ink for sentiment inside. antique linen distress ink

Die: Nestabilities Label 4

Misc: Ranger gold embossing powder , gold satin ribbon, Heat tool, ATG

Enjoy the Ramadan Feast!
